Admission

Pupils are ordinarily admitted only at the beginning of the academic year. No admission is made until the pupil has passed a test for the respective class. The principal reserve the right to admit any pupil to the class for which he thinks him best suited. A candidate who has attended a recognized school and seeks admissions cannot be admitted without a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended.

WITHDRAWAL

No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day, will be admitted to class without the permission of the Principal. Absence must be explained in a note to the Principal signed by the guardian or the parents.

No leave of absence will be granted expect for serious reasons subject to a written application given in advance.

All are expected to attend classes on the reopening day of school after vacation. Absence for more than five days immediately after a vacation, render the student liable to have his /her name struck off the Rolls.

The intended withdrawal of a pupil should be made known to the principal in writing one month in advance or one month’s fees will be charged. No allowance will be made for broken periods of absence.

PROMOTIONS

Promotions are granted on the basis of the year’s work hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work.

A candidate must secure 33% on the aggregate total of the tests and pass in each subject and also in each paper to be eligible for promotion. The candidate must also pas in the Final Examination.
